Well, unfortunately, shit happens, and it happens a lot. Many biz do not have a crisis plan for the most important elements of their company. What happens if the client database bursts into flames, and the hard drives melt? What do you do if a jilted customer goes on a personal vendetta to destroy your business' online reputation? Where do you setup a new shop if your current location is suddenly off limits due to acts of nature? How do you notify customers in the event of an emergency? Where do you get supplies if your chief supplier goes out of business? Answer these questions for a business owner and you can get paid four to five figures to study the biz owner's operation and come up with an action plan to minimize the damaging affects of shit hitting the fan.

Create niche newslettet
I found a service that allows you to create a custom newsletter, and share it with an audience.
http://paper.li/
It is a paid service, but you can get started for free.
How you can best use this (in the context of offline) is to create advertorials directed at your target market, and either get them to subscribe or fire off examples to them via email.
For example, if you're targeting Restaurants; create a newsletter that highlights the trends in this niche, and discuss what the industry is doing right and wrong in terms of digital marketing. These info pieces are incredibly effective ways of creating a sense of loss in a biz owner's mind, especially when you showcase competitors doing successful promotions.
Pro Tip: At the end of the article, put a boilerplate like: "the author can be reached at 555.555.5555 or email to answer your

Buying SEO RANK
ere's a performance based service that I've used for my clients.
www.rankpay.com
There's no fee and you only pay if you rank. Just enter your website, and some base keywords. The tool also recommends available keywords and offers you pricing. The prices are also locked for six months so there's no surprises.
This is a great way to rank client sites and make money with a markup.
Have you used this service? If so, let me know what you think about it in a comment below.

Generating policy pages n cobtent
Here is a list of content generators, and duplicate content scanners taken from one of Luther's SEO products. The privacy policy generator is especially important not just for SEO - a lot of ad networks need to see this on your site in order to approve your landing pages:

How to find backlinks
One of the services I provide my SEO clients is regular back-linking from relevant authority sites. I have a few go-to sources for each offline niche, but to provide an extra boost I like to see what their top competition is doing in order to try to outrank them.
To start off, search Google for the target keywords you are trying to rank for and make a list of all the sites that show up in the results. Then run each of these sites through a backlink analysis service, like the ones I've listed here:
AHrefs
https://ahrefs.com/
Majestic SEO
https://majestic.com/
Link Research Tools
http://www.linkresearchtools.com/
Moz Research Tool
http://www.advancedlinkmanager.com/
Advanced Link Manager
https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/
Xenu Link
http://home.snafu.de/tilman/xenulink.html
These services will show you what sites are linking to all the top ranked sites for your target keywords. In many cases you'll find directory sites, blogs, wikis, and other types of sites that you can contribute content to in exchange for a link back to your or your clients sites.
Seo starter guide
stumbled on this SEO starter guide on Hacker news earlier... Published by Google back in 2010.
A little old, but it does provide some a solid base for beginners:
https://static.googleusercontent.co.../search-engine-optimization-starter-guide.pdf
I found this earlier, and thought it might be helpful: http://www.clickminded.com/seo-checklist/
This checklist is pretty basic, but it covers all of the must have's of getting a site ranked
Mobile site
Google is rolling out yet-another update, this time focusing on mobile usability on websites:
http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2015/02/finding-more-mobile-friendly-search.html
The update is scheduled to be rolled out starting April 21st, and the fear mongering has already started:
http://www.entrepreneur.com/article/244175
What does this mean for you? Well if you have been building websites or doing SEO for any length of time this update should not come as a surprise: Google is now factoring in mobile usability into their algorithm. That means sites that are optimized for mobile will appear higher in their search results and sites that are not mobile ready (in the eyes of Google) will be penalized and may fall further down the search results.
Google has released a tool that tests sites for their mobile readiness and provides instructions for improving a sites mobile design as well:
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/
I always run my clients websites though this tool, and in most cases find a number of items that can be fixed. It's also a great way to approach new clients - run any business' site through this scanner and email them the results along with a link to the article on entrepreneur.com above. I haven't tried this yet for getting new clients, but my current clients have expressed a concern for this
